HBC CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Here at Hephzibah, we are dedicated to providing children with excellent care while teaching them God's Word at the same time. We believe that our kids are the future of our church. Our goal is to equip your kids to be leaders at Hephzibah and in the community.

Our volunteers are highly capable and committed to teaching your kids the foundations of the Bible. We provide age-appropriate classes for every child from newborn to sixth grade.

Sunday Morning

Sunday School

Nursery: Newborn-Two Years Old

In this classroom, babies will have access to multiple toys, books, and two walkers. There are also cribs where babies can take naps. There are two teachers who will be ready to receive your babies when you drop them off.

Preschool: Three and Four-Year-Olds

In this classroom, your preschoolers will be able to watch videos, play with many toys, and make arts and crafts. There will be two teachers ready to receive your preschoolers when you drop them off.

Lower Elementary: Kindergarten-Second Grade

In this classroom, your kids will have lessons each week about stories from the Bible that teach them the meaning of God's Word and His love for us. They will have worksheets and coloring pages that they will able to bring home. There will be two teachers ready to receive your kids when you drop them off.

Upper Elementary: Third Grade-Sixth Grade

In this classroom, your kids will have lessons each week teaching them more in-depth stories from the Bible. This class will prepare them to enter the youth group. They will have worksheets that they will be able to bring home. There will be two teachers ready to receive your kids when you drop them off.

Children's Church

Four Years-Second Grade

This class will occur during the main service after worship. Your kids will walk up to their classroom escorted by two teachers. During this time, kids will be singing and dancing along to worship songs followed by a storytime taught by the teachers. They will also do crafts and color sheets that they will be able to take home.

Wednesday Night

Newborn-First Grade

In this class, your kids will engage in stories from the Bible, make crafts, and play with friends and toys. There will be three volunteers prepared to receive your kids when you drop them off.

Second Grade-Sixth Grade

In this class, kids will sing and dance to worship songs, learn stories from the Bible, and play outside in time allows. There will be two volunteers ready to receive your kids when you drop them off.
